Tipping

In most hotels and nice restaurants a service charge of 10-15% is added to the bill (this charge has already been pre-paid for by all of our customers!). A small tip is appreciated for good service, but it is not mandatory.

Restaurants: Tipping is not mandatory in restaurants, though it is always apprciated. If you do decide to tip in a restuarant, you should tip approximately 10% of the bill total.

Pubs: Tipping is not usual in pubs. In fact, if you do tip in a pub, the bartender will know right away which country you are from, as Americans are the only ones with the habit of tipping barmen.

Taxis: Cab drivers are usually tipped 10%
